Ever feel like the world’s a bit too “me, me, me”? It’s like everyone’s scrolling for gold - looking out for number one. 
 
And look, we’re all about self-care, but we’re also about community, giving back and helping others (and we reckon you should be too!)
 

Why we give back 

 
Let’s be honest, it feels amazing to help out. Whether it’s cleaning up your local beach, volunteering at a food drive, planting trees, or just helping out a mate who needs a hand, we love getting stuck in and doing our bit. 
 
And while we don’t give back because we’re gunning for a trophy…well, we won’t deny the emotional reward feels good.
 
Plus, it’s not just about doing good and feeling good in return. When we give back, we’re tapping into something bigger than ourselves. 
 
For example, some of you may know we just got back from Kenya where we saw firsthand the trees that have been planted thanks to your support. 
 
Seeing the tangible difference we’ve all made together was nothing short of incredible. 

And honestly… it just makes us want to keep doing good! 
 

The science behind giving back & feeling good 

 
Did you know doing good actually fires up your brain's reward centres and releases feel-good chemicals, making you happier and healthier? That’s cold hard facts, fam.
 
Plus, helping out isn’t just a nice thing to do; it’s actually wired into us. Humans were built to thrive on teamwork and helping out the community. 
 
So, every time you give back, you’re not just making the world a bit better—you’re boosting your own mood and health too. 
 
As the old saying goes “doing good does you good.” How can you argue with that? 
 

How you can start giving back

 
Wondering how to dive in? Pick something you’re passionate about. Crazy about puppies? Volunteer at an animal shelter. Love our wild and precious places like forests and beaches? Join a clean-up crew. Donate blood, donate food, mentor students… it really can be anything. 
 
And yes, some might argue that doing good just to feel good takes away from the act itself. But we say, if it’s a win-win for everyone, then it’s all good! Why not spread a bit of joy and get some in return? No harm, no foul, right?
 
So – let’s get out there and spread some good vibes.
